10/30/09 - It's baaaaaack........ (Updated 3:51 p.m.)

Well Election Day is next Tuesday and Governor Jon Corzine is already gearing up for a second term by reintroducing his creepy, scary toll road scheme.

You remember Corzine's plan to sell the Atlantic City Expressway and Garden State Parkway. It had an interesting price tag --- an 800% toll increase.

Corzine was just quoted by the New York Times as saying he'll revisit his toll road scheme in the next term.

Let's stop Corzine from having that opportunity. This weekend our volunteers will be out in force for Chris Christie and our Atlantic County ticket --- John Amodeo, Vince Polistina, Frank Giordano, Jim Curcio and Frank Formica.

Please come out to our HQ at 2516 Fire Road, Egg Harbor Township throughout the weekend to help with door-knocks and phone calls. Call 677-0707 for more information.

We need your help to stop Corzine's plans for higher tolls, slots at North Jersey race tracks and higher taxes.

Remind your friends and family members to vote Column "A" next Tuesday so we can get our state back on track.

UPDATE ON CORZINE TOLL ROAD SCHEME

Chris Christie today urged voters not to buy Corzine's backtracking on his plans for a toll road sale. Read more here.

10/27/09 - Help elect Christie - Amodeo - Polistina - Giordano - Curcio & Formica

It's one week from election day and time to remind all our friends and family members to get out and vote on November 3 for our Column "A" ticket.

For our state, the stakes are high. We can't afford four more years of Jon Corzine and his high taxes, irresponsible spending and the threat of slots at North Jersey race tracks.

We need the leadership of Chris Christie now more than ever. The Press of Atlantic City had it right in its endorsement: "Chris Christie earned his reputation as an effective and energetic corruption-buster. We believe he would make an effective governor as well - one who would bring some fiscal sanity to state government, one who would set a no-nonsense tone in Trenton, and who would protect and nurture Atlantic City's economic health in these precarious times."

But now its up to us to make sure Atlantic County comes through strong for Christie and our entire Column "A" ticket.

Come over to headquarters are join our volunteers on our phones to call your neighbors to get out and vote. Calls are being made daily at HQ -- 2516 Fire Road, Egg Harbor Township.

Call 677-0707 to volunteer today --- we need your help to bring change to Trenton with Christie, Amodeo & Polistina and keep our trusted leadership in Atlantic County Government with Giordano, Curcio & Formica.

10/26/09 - Christie to appear on Don Williams Program

Republican candidate for governor, Chris Christie, will be a guest on Don Williams Show on Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. 1400 WOND.

10/25/09 - Press of AC endorses Christie for Governor

The Press of Atlantic City endorsed Republican Gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie in this morning’s edition saying he’s “best for New Jersey, best for Atlantic City”.

You can read the complete editorial by clicking here.

The Press wrote that “Chris Christie earned his reputation as an effective and energetic corruption-buster. We believe he would make an effective governor as well - one who would bring some fiscal sanity to state government, one who would set a no-nonsense tone in Trenton, and who would protect and nurture Atlantic City's economic health in these precarious times. … Christie appears the most passionate and unwavering on protecting Atlantic City from future gambling expansion in the state.”

It’s important to get this message out to everyone you know. While Corzine has flirted with slot machines at North Jersey race tracks over the past four years and Independent Candidate Chris Daggett publicly called for slots at the Meadowlands in a recent debate, Chris Christie is the only candidate for governor who has consistently opposed slot machines outside of Atlantic City.

We need Chris Christie as our governor because our region’s economy and our ability to create more jobs depends upon it.

Please help the Christie for Governor campaign by volunteering for an hour or two at our Victory Headquarters, 2516 Fire Road in Egg Harbor Township. Phone banks are going on every day from now to election day starting at 9:00 a.m. and continuing to 8:00 p.m.

We need your help to toss out Jon Corzine and start getting our state on the right fiscal path. Our region depends upon it.

We need EVERYONE’S help --- Republicans, Democrats and independents to get Christies elected.

Call 677-0707 to sign up as a Christie volunteer today.
