And welcome Bill Kennedy to the Republican Party. The Press of Atlantic City reports today that Mullica Township Committeeman Bill Kennedy filed papers to become a member of the Republican Party. This switch now gives Republicans a majority on Mullica's Township Committee with Mayor Janet Forman and Committeewoman Kathy Chasey.
It's always nice to have a Kennedy join the Republicans. Welcome to the party Bill.

4/9/09 - Christie jumps on "overtaxed" comment
Republican gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie released a new radio ad taking issue with Jon Corzine's treasurer's incredible statement yesterday that New Jerseyans are NOT overtaxed.
Listen to it here.

4/8/09 - Corzine's Treasurer: New Jerseyans are not overtaxed
Demonstrating how out of touch this Corzine administration is, the Governor's own Treasury secretary said yesterday that New Jerseyans are not overtaxed.
Responding to a question from the Republican Budget leader on the Assembly Appropriations Committee -- "In your observation, do you feel New Jerseyans are overtaxed?", Treasurer David Rousseau said "No".
Read the article here.
Only Jon Corzine --- a multimillionaire --- would believe that New Jerseyans are not overtaxed.

3/14/09 - Jon Corzine: Doing the Wrong Thing
Governor Jon Corzine is on a PR blitz to convince New Jersey voters that he's done the right thing.
In fact, more often than not, Corzine has done the wrong thing as governor. The latest example is the budget he just introduced, which raises taxes by $1.5 billion -- hitting NJ's middle class the hardest in the midst of an economic recession.
Property tax rebates will end for families earning more than $75,000 and the Governor wants to end the property tax deduction on your state income tax return.
Hitting middle class families in the middle of the worst economic downturn in decades. That's the Corzine plan.
And Corzine's plan is a complete flip-flop from what he promised to do as Governor in 2005.
Read this article which includes the text of an ad Corzine ran in September 2005, called "Believes". In it, the announcer says:
"Now in his campaign for governor, he's proposed a 40 percent increase in property tax rebates for New Jersey's seniors and middle-income families. Tax relief for the middle class -- that's the Corzine plan. Jon Corzine for Governor."
A 40% increase in property tax rebates for the middle class promised in 2005.
Now a complete elimination of property tax rebates for the middle class --- that's the real Corzine plan.

3/12/09 - Buffett Bails
In an interview on CNBC this week, financier Warren Buffett had some course words for the new Treasury Secretary --- even though Buffett was an early supporter of President Obama.
