Vince Polistina
Biography
Vince Polistina resides in Egg Harbor Township with his wife Carolyn and 3 children – Vincent, age 2; and Dominic and Cole, 13 months. He is a life-long resident of Atlantic County who was raised in Galloway Township prior to moving to Egg Harbor Township. He is a 1989 graduate of Absegami High School.
Vince attended Rutgers University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioenvironmental Engineering in 1993. He has specialized in the design and construction management of water and wastewater systems throughout his career. Vince received his Professional Engineer’s License in 1999 and Professional Planner’s License in 2000. He is also a registered Certified Municipal Engineer in the State of New Jersey.
Vince formed the engineering firm Polistina & Associates in 2003. Located in Egg Harbor Township with 12 employees, the firm serves as the Authority Engineer for the Egg Harbor Township Municipal Utilities Authority, the Engineer-of-Record for the Egg Harbor Township Board of Education, the Municipal Engineer for the Borough of Folsom, Planning and Zoning Board Engineer for the Borough of Folsom, Planning and Zoning Board Engineer for the City of Estell Manor and the Zoning Board Engineer for the City of Cape May.
Prior to the establishment of his own firm, Vince worked as the Township Planner for Galloway Township, Egg Harbor Township and Hamilton Township. He has also served the Planning and Zoning Boards of all three communities. Vince has also been responsible for professional engineering and planning services on behalf of Atlantic County, Longport, and the Atlantic City, Northfield, and Egg Harbor City Boards of Education.
Outside of his professional life, Vince is deeply committed to community service. He is a former Chairman of the Egg Harbor Township Police Athletic League and has served as both the President and Treasurer of the United Republican Club of Egg Harbor Township.
Vince is an avid supporter of the EHTBOE Education Foundation, the Richard Simon Center for Alzheimer’s at Seashore Gardens, the American Red Cross, the Tom Fabietti Scholarship Foundation, the American Cancer Society, the Junior Achievement Society, the Mainland PBA, the Donny Fund and numerous other charitable organizations. |
