Assemblyman Brian E. Rumpf

Biography
Assemblyman Rumpf was born in Somerville on May 11, 1964. He graduated from St. Joseph High School and attended The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC where he graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts. He received a Juris Doctor from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 1989.

Assemblyman Rumpf has been a Committeeman on the Little Egg Harbor Township Committee from 1997 to present and served as Mayor from 2000 to 2004. He is a member of the Little Egg Harbor Planning Board and is Chairman of the Great Bay Regional Police Athletic League. He has been the a County Committeeman since 1996. He is presently a member of the Ocean County Screening Committee, Chairman of the Little Egg Harbor Open Space Acquisition Committee and a Trustee of the Little Egg Harbor Regular Republican organization.

Assemblyman Rumpf is a member of the Little Egg Harbor Italian American Club, the All Saints Regional Catholic School PTA and the Mystic Island Community Association. He also is a trustee of the Southern Ocean County Hospital.

Assemblyman Rumpf was selected by the Republican County Committee members and was sworn to the Assembly on June 23, 2003 and was re-elected to the General Assembly in 2003.

Assemblyman Rumpf is a member of the Assembly Law & Public Safety Committee and the Consumer Affairs Committee.

Assemblyman Rumpf and his wife, Debra H., were married in 1990. They have two children, Justin and Kassidy. He and Debra are also business partners in the law firm, Firm of Brian E. Rumpf and Debra H. Rumpf of Little Egg Harbor, NJ.
